Thanks. I will do that just after posting.
I guess nobody has time to make nice screenshots of the beautiful CPC conversion of Strider 1 and the nice looking pink graphics ![]() http://www.cpc-power.com/index.php?page=detail&num=2093 Edit: Just seen s2325 post, will take a look. Edit2: Well, after checking the video and from what I remember of playing the arcade version it seems to differ indeed. MG also have a separate entry for the NES version, which they usually do when there are some major changes compared to the other versions: http://www.mobygames.com/game/nes/strider_ http://www.mobygames.com/game/strider IIRC, the few similar cases in HOL are dealt with a conversion note in the entry stating the "conversion" has major different gameplay differences. See for instance Mr Nutz (and also the note below the conversion screenshots): http://hol.abime.net/2527 Anyone expert enough to give in a few words the main differences of the NES conversion that I can put there? Otherwise, I guess I will just write a generic "the NES version of the game features different gameplay elements when compared to the other versions" ![]() Last edited by lilalurl; 14 September 2012 at 09:54. |
