CDTV questions

Hello

I have a CDTV and I have a A600 kickstart 3.1, I have ordered extended CDTV roms 2.07

My question is, can I just plug kickstart 3.1 or do I need to make something before it? I mean like swapping pins etc?

Some days ago I had a my A1200 atop of my CDTV and I noticed that mobo would fit inside of CDTV case. So I get idee to mount A1200 mobo inside of defektive CDTV.

Is there any way to get A1200 boot from CD? Would CD32 roms work?

The 3.1 rom and 2.07 extended roms are just a straight swap out, nothing else is required.

I think you have to use the CD32 emulation part from the Idefix package to boot CD's on the A1200. You need to alter the Startup-sequence on the HD to detect the CD then try to boot from it (or something like that).
