console dev

Hi.

Just wondering if anyone out there is doing any console development on the amiga?

Would be especially interested to know if there is an xbox assembler flying about the place.

Cheers.

Guess that´s not what staticgerbil wants He asked for an Assembler running on Amiga to compile XBox Code NOT for an Amiga Emu running on the XBox

Your right retroman.

Ive never written an assembler but i guess it probably wouldn't be all that hard if you had all the docs for the xbox machine code?

Maybe i should have a crack at one.

Cheers anywho

XBox is basically PC with Intel Celeron CPU and NVidia chipset in a black box, there is no need for special xbox assembler.

damn M$

It's more like a pc than i thought!

So in theory i could probably write a basic windoze program, rename it to .xbe and it could well work?

I believe the xbox uses dx8 and supports .md2/3 files to.

I would still prefer to do it on my amiga if i can.

Guess i could run pc task

No I still think you need to compile xbox stuff with the proper xbox dev kit
Renaming won't do the trick I'm afraid
Try This site for more info
