Using PC TFT screen for Amiga
Right what i want to do is share my pc tft monitor with my Amiga, I understand that i need a scandoubler for it to work, I thought i could get aroudn this by using a phono to svideo lead and plug the amiga into the svideo in port on my pc's tv card, This does work and i can display my amiga picture on my pc in a window but the picture is slighlty blurred. Is there anyway to make the picture more clearer?? |

Not really, unless you make an s-video mod to your Amiga (I guess you have an A1200?).
Even then the picture quality won't be much better. |

or perhaps use FLY2000TV software to view the tv-tuner screens. It has many processing fx to improve quality, and the amazing 2x frames setting, that gives 100% smooth movement...
FYI, normal tv-soft display only 25fps (pal) or 30 fps (ntsc) on the computer monitor. and since monitors are very different than tv's, the motion is jerky, and needs de-interlacing... unless u use fly2000tv and activate 2x frames processing. then u get 50 or 60fps, thus having a vastly improved image and scrolling on your monitor. I have searched a lot for this, 'cause I wanted to display saturn/dc/psx on my monitor... ofcourse a saa71xx based tv-card helps A LOT. check it here: http://members.home.nl/fly2000/index_e.html |
