Re: reset bug
Well that's not a real bug as you must click eject first before changing disk images. |

Hello everybody, i have posted on that thread on RG and was pointed to this forum to hopefully find help, so please let me describe my problem with the new WinUAE:
When I use the "compatibility mode" in the Input settings it´s only possible to use my adaptoid (which is displayed 2 times in the "Input"-Menu (Adaptoid, Adaptoid, Maus, Keyboard). It seems like WinUAE tries to see the Adaptoid as both a Joystick and secondly as a mouse. Both mouse and keyboard inputs are not working when booting a game in "compatibility mode". Trying to setup the controls manually always leads to the adaptoid not working at all. I checked my Controller Settings under windows and it works correct (the Adaptoid is the only Joy I use and it´s only listed once). My setup: ------------ AMD Athlon 550 Mhz Matrox G400 Max Soundblaster Live Win 98 SE Nintendo 64 Joypad connected via Adaptoid ( more info at http://www.wishtech.com ) My settings in WinUAE: ----------------------------- Chipset: OCS Fast Copper Collision Level: Sprites Only Sound: Enabled 22050Hz Stereo Buffer size 2 Lag Compensation 0.0% Interpolation Disabled Ram: 8MB Chip CPU: Type : 68000 CPU Emulation Speed: Match A500 Speed Display: 640x480x32bit Full Screen Horizontal & Vertical Centering checked Line Mode: Doubled Refresh: Every Frame ROM: Kickstart 1.3 Here is my winuaebootlog.txt: -------------------------------------- (c) 2000-2001 Bernd Meyer - JIT engine. I saw you writing something about backspace used for changing ammunition in Twinworld at retrogames.com. I *think* you remember the key wrongly! It's SPACE you change your ammunition with, not backspace. ![]() No wonder it doesn't work. ![]() |
