A2000: Can I install an internal PC floppy drive?
My A2000 is only equipped with one internal floppy drive. I have a spare PC internal floppy drive, can this be installed on an A2000?

Depending on the PC floppy drive model, it may be converted to be used on the Amiga. That may be by changing jumpers, or it could be by modding traces/components/wires/etc.

Yes, at least some PC floppy drives can be used with an Amiga, I believe a twisted cable is needed. A quick Google provided a lot of info, even YouTube videos. Even an article here on EAB. Here is one link:

I came across this last night while googling external disk drive options for the Amiga. Looks to be an adapter to make PC drives work with the Amiga. That would save the need to mod the drive.

It's a nice little adapter, but probably overkill in most cases since the drives can usually be modified very easily. There's instructions for many different models available.
