Yup. Andy Davidson (creator of Worms) made a game called Total Wormage on the Amiga, which eventually turned into Worms after he showed it to Team17.

Worms Directors Cut for the A1200 was probably the last version released on the Amiga.
AGA graphics look really nice, but the random generated levels seem a bit small to me. |

There's Worms Armageddon over at Hyperion (http://www.hyperion-entertainment.co...orms_game.html). Requirements are too high for my liking though!
