Does Take 2 Interactive's CEo's name rings a bell? He was Commodore's MD circa 1993 (before David Pleasance, methinks) Where are the other known guys from back then? Specially teh coders... I Sure do miss Andrew Braybrook, haven't heard of him in centuries |

Andrew got a new job
Some very shocking news which is hard to believe: Mister Braybrook nowadays works for an... assurance company!
He has no connection anymore with the games industry. I read this info on a site which is devoted to former 8-bit machine coders. I got to that site via a homepage which is mentioned at AmigaMOS. Now what is that adress? I have to find that out! Aargh! |

Sad that such a top bollocks coder like Braybrook is now pissing his life away in some insurance company. I read that article as well
That is one thing I personally would like to read about...a "Where are they now?" Amiga page, instead of endless lists of crap ADF files you can get on any web site. YAWN! |

ASSURANCE COMPANY !?!?!?!
Ouch, that really hurt. I mean, anyone can get tired of computer games once in a while but... an assurance company? What next? David Braben in a Buddhist temple, growing rare flowers? |

Found the "Where are they now" site
At last I have found the site which is all about programmers. It is called What are they doing now.
It seems most programmers from back in the 8-bit days are still in the games business. Most are working anonymously for those giant softwarecompanies. |

ARGH!!!!!!! We must save Andrew, somehow!!!!!! How about dragging him to one of the Back in Time LIVE parties, so he relives the glory, finds out we love him, and gets back to the game coding biz?
Alright, I'm telling Chris Abbott... |

Graftgold & Kelly Sumner..
Yes, the story about Mr. Braybrook is very shocking. He produced with Graftgold one of the finest games on C64 and Amiga. I hope the rumours at Lemon 64 discussionboard are true and Andrew will produce some games for the Gameboy Advanced. I would commit a murder just to play Graftgold's Rainbow Islands on that handheld.
By the way, was Kelly Sumner only for a few months head of the UK Commodore office? I remember that he suddenly left the company without leaving a trace. |

I remember Kelly Summer was charged of "Leaving the ship before it sunked" ......
anyway, it's really a shock to know that about Braybrook, everytime I talk about nice coding of a game, Braybrook is always the first name to came in mind...... Now let's bomb him with letters crying for a come back... |
