Talking seriously (in case somebody wanted to reject your score), it is counting and I am going to have a long afternoon today

I know, it's incredibly annoying when you spend ages getting a good score and it's lost forever the moment you quit the game.

@VermillioN: you just don't know when to stop do you?!

Mine does - you do exit just like from any Deluxe Galaga version with pressing Esc and Y, not just press the WHDLoad exit key?

Maybe you need to specify this in Galaga Prefs?

...or the save file's not present or write protected, or something with the files?
Maybe you don't have WHDLoad registered?

I am registered with WHDLoad (Faggots :P)

Hmmm will check the prefs later.. I must dig out my old Galaga disks, I have huge scores on that from when I used to compete against my cousin and I love warblade on the PC

My new score. I have used my old highscore table because recently joining does not want to work (I don't have a clue why).

8,824,630 - 10th position in the table

I don't know how it happened but in some moment I lost my rank. I was admiral when suddenly, after collecting another rank marker, an info showed up that I was degraded (I haven't noticed it at the first moment). Do you know what should be done to be degraded?

P.S. Look at the first place and score of my friend

When you are fully graded there is another rank marker, it's sorta purple with lines on it (I think, not seen one in yrs) this will degrade you

I recall collecting something like this and it happened. Although I haven't noticed whether it has lines or not

Advice for me playing next time: when fully graded, stay away from purple rank markers

I could do with that advice - I've collected the purple one twice

I'd take a screenshot but it's far too quick
