Amiga Explorer problem

i'm attempting to convert the following adf images:

Black Tiger (1989)(U.S. Gold)[cr DA][t +6 DA]
MERCS (1991)(U.S. Gold)[cr QTX]

unfortunately when the disk creation process completes, i get a "system request" on the amiga:

Error validating disk:
Key 880 checksum error

followed by:

Disk structure corrupt
Use DISKDOCTOR to corrrect it

what have i done wrong, what should i do?

i'm using a null-modem serial cable.

I found that AExplorer had problems writing some non-dos games to disk. If you have an amiga with enough memory or a hard drive you can copy the adf to the ram disk or hard drive and write it to disk using one of the better adf writer programs. For workbench 1.3 tracktool is damn good for workbench 2 and above you could use adfblitzer or something similar.

You can get tracktool here:
http://members.tripod.com/whdloadrules/utilities.html

and adf blitzer here:

What kind of amiga are you using and how much memory does it have?

512 KB Chip RAM + 512 KB Slow RAM, NTSC system with a rev 6a motherboard. i assume it has at least an ECS Agnus chip(couldn't verify from seller) & not sure of what Denise chip.

despite what happened with the 4 above mentioned games, i was able to get 5 disks created with amiga explorer:

bionic commando
ninja spirit
dragon spirit
midnight resistance (NTSC fix)
ghosts n goblins

of the 5, 2 are non-working, i believe, due to conflicts with NTSC mode:

bionic commando
ghosts n goblins
