This is the game I used to play when I got home from school when I was really young. It's aged very badly but I still like it.

The best way to score points (other than finishing the course) is to complete the set of flags in the top right of the screen. You get 1,000 points for that and flags then become wild for a few seconds so you can get a headstart on your next set.

The other way is to get as many footballs as you can. These are worth 2,000 each and are spread out sparcely throughout the game. A quirk of the game is that some rocks when you hit them turn in to footballs. There are usually about 1-2 rocks per lap that do this. You can't tell which ones do this without trying them, but here are a couple to get you started.

The third one is particularly difficult to get because you have to avoid the canister in front of it.

Offroad is the easiest track, North is by far the hardest. The map in the top right on North is corrupted, once you reach the end of it there is still plenty of track left to complete.

I'll come out of my shell and play this round

This game is often pure randomness so even the poor player can luck-in. Good luck everybody

Did you play the WHDLoad version? I had that problem too. I just set the Nocache tooltype and now it works fine (although it's a bit slower).

I had the ADF freeze on the East track, I crashed full speed into a fence and it just froze.

Looks like it happens with us all Are you playing on a real Amiga or via emulation?

WinUAE Quickstart Amiga 500 config, 1.3 ROM, ECS Agnus, 512KB Chip & 512KB Slow.

I haven't transfered it back to disk yet. Also had it freeze on offroad, again I crashed full speed into a barrier.

Great score capehorn. I think that is the first score on EAB to be submitted as a video...? Is that correct? Superb effort.

Go (EAB Sponsored) Capehorn Team! You're currently (single handedly) leading the round.

..Maybe the others are worried they'll drag down the team average...?

Where is everyone?

This game is very hightly addictive!! I'd certainly recommend it.

Thanks. Hopefully a few others will join us.

I did have a few problems with tracks 2 & 4 crashing on me - usually when I hit a specific object in a specific spot (yup, I'm using the ADF version). I haven't made it to the end of track 2, so theres a potential extra 15,000+ points that I could earn

Offroad (T1):88,840
Noth (T2):65,610
East (T3):92,230
West (T4):90,520
South (T5):96,700

Total: 433,900
