Thomas on EAB:
"FullPalette is able to lock all colors individually, so you can use it to set MagicWB colors (pens 4 - 7). The same is done by MagicWB-Daemon which comes with the original MagicWB package." I ain't arsed |

Well, in the NewIcons distribution there should be a small program called CopyNewIcon or something similar. With this you can replace any normal icon with a NewIcon. On Aminet, there are several NI packs with icons for pretty much any application you can think of.

http://www.startrekdesktopwallpaper....alseries.shtml I'm going to be putting that on my Amiga as well, love it. I haven't tried finding those icons yet though, but they look like some that I found for Linux at one point in time. Love 'em. slaapliedje P.S. After many hours of searching, it's the GANT icon theme in that screenshot; Last edited by slaapliedje; 13 July 2013 at 17:35. Reason: Found the icon set! |

Agreed! I couldn't find the actual Amiga version of the GANT icon set, just a few references to it being used for OS4.1.
It's created by the same guy who did the buuf icon set, which I did manage to find a download for here; http://www.os4depot.net/?function=sh...on/amibuff.lzx slaapliedje |

Thanks a lot. The best is that you don't need a rtg or OS4 to use those icons, since PeterK's icon.library...
I wonder where did he get the Amidock background. What's clear is that Mad-Matt has put a lot of time and effort on that WB. Edit: You are wrong with the icons, they aren't, but the wallpaper looks great remapped to 256 colors. Some more investigation needed to find the right icons. The thing is ... and I didn't have an idea... that if you take a png icon from there (doesn't work with jpg) and you rename it as .info, you've got the Amiga icon, with transparent background -so perfect-. The only problem is that those images are very large (256x256.......). Perhaps there is another icons set, or we could try resizing them... puf... one by one. Edit: And I don't find the "Ram" icon, but I haven't downloaded all his stuff yet. Last edited by Retrofan; 17 July 2013 at 02:35. |

Actually I saw that someone else had done the exact same thing with the BUUF icons. I should have mentioned it. Also, I believe the GANT icons are in different sizes, 48x48 is probably what we want, instead of the 256x256.
Hmmm, so who wants to make a pretty installer for it? slaapliedje |

And also... I've got the idea that using these icons will slow down the system a bit. (edit: well, not if they have the right size). Not a problem for WinUAE though. Last edited by Retrofan; 15 July 2013 at 03:29. |

I would just suggest making one for ClassicWB or something, maybe the higher end ones only?
I actually think with PeterK's latest icon.library, the PNG icons run just as fast as the normal ones do, and with less memory consumption! Well, less Chip RAM anyhow. slaapliedje |

Hehehe... well, if you convince Bloodwych to make it...
It will be a lot of work. I haven't tried a single resized icon yet to see if it's possible even. Edit: And make something and find me the "Ram" icon... LOL Edit2: Well.. if Mad-Matt wants, he only has to make a "Lha a -a -e -r -x Icons_Backup Sys:#?.info", and he would have them saved on Ram to share. I've seen that already... just a pic, and no ram icon. Search more and find me the "Ram" one...
Edit: And I think... the bigger the icons, the slower the system... (don't think on the main screen, think opening "Utilities" or "Preferences"). They should have to be smaller I think. Also the speed opening those drawers depends on the font. We can use an smaller/different/faster one. Last edited by Retrofan; 15 July 2013 at 04:11. |

Yep it does when you snapshot them.
It opens a pop-up window asking if you want to convert them to OS3.5/3.9 icon and if you do the icon will be significantly smaller. |

Mad-Matt has told me that his icons are these instead:
http://norbalin.deviantart.com/art/U...-Linux-2550034 And they seem to have the right size. He has to find some more icons he used too though. Thanks Mad-Matt! |
