Need ideas for a 3D printable case
Hi,
The weather outside is a bit cold and wet so I've had to spend some time in the workshop.  I am working on resurrecting the MK2 Audio mixer, detailed here: http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...&postcount=122By making the PCB 10mm smaller I can get a small quantity of PCBs manufactured with an estimated retail price from my website around £7 each. I'm an electronic engineer by trade, mechanical is not my strong point so I'm asking for ideas for a suitable housing. With 3D printing available, can someone suggest some ideas for custom cases/enclosures? I will have a Google sketchup model available shortly which will have the dimensions of the board. From this I hope to take a design idea and get a case custom printed for my prototype. More projects on the way in 2014. Ian |
