Doesn't look like they've used the copper for the background.

Thanks Neil79 , if not problem we use this post for continue updating the project.
You have additional info in https://amigatronics.wordpress.com/2...l-juego-bomba/ Today we are working to open the "official" facebook page of development EON for Amiga. Later I'll post here the link. |

After several months of testing and the joint effort between AmigaWave and Goblins, the time has come to present our new work in progress for 2019, EON for Amiga.
EON is a game designed and published in 2014 for PC by François Perez, also known as Wonderboy Bobi. The game was created from a PC maker and therefore we do not have a source code from which to start. The game will be recreated from scratch for Amiga AGA / CD32. We are still studying the possibility of investing time in adapting it to Vampire and AmigaNG (MorphOS, AmigaOS4, AROS, etc ...), but this is still not certain, everything will depend on the strengths that remain after finish the AGA version and the interest that we see in those systems. In the technical section of the game, EON is designed to make use of the dualplayfield and scroll parallax for almost the entire game, thus obtaining a visual and gaming experience worthy of an AGA machine. The main development will be for AMIGA AGA with 020 to 14Mhz and 2 Mb of ram, so you will need at least one Amiga 1200 or a CD32. The game is a mixture of RPG of adventure and action, where you will have to go obtaining a series of objectives and solving some puzzles or enigmas to be able to continue progressing in the adventure. There is still a lot of development and work ahead, so I ask you a little patience. |

Only one small regret : the mountains in the background are not moving at all on the video.
Otherwise, for what I have seen on the available screen-shots, the gfx work is fantastic ! Really in the spirit of SotB ! I do stand up and applause !!! Is François Perez the one who made the gfx ? |

Have downloaded the PC demo here. Once unzipped, single exe that is running smoothly even on the Aspire Keyboard controls are responding really nicely.
Looking forward for your port on AGA guys. Edit: just noticed the link is also available in the IndyRetro news. Last edited by malko; 09 January 2019 at 14:36. |

Well done guys, impressive stuff!
I just saw the PC demo and I have to say that bringing this to Amiga makes good sense (at least from a technical standpoint). Visually it's excellent and gameplay wise it seems quite polished also! I also have to give kudos for the new cooperations you guys have started (for this game and Hard Copy party) plus the fact that both productions seem to aim for a high quality result. We surely need more of this mentality in the community! Go Amiga Wave! A question: The PC version seems to be only a demo so far. Do you plan to do an 1-1 port of this (given the hardware restrictions of course) and leave it there or are there any thoughts of a complete game? |

Cool graphics!
I think the clouds are moving way too fast, and the mountains need to move as well. If the mountains cannot move it would be better to stop the clouds from moving as well Last edited by fgh; 09 January 2019 at 23:09. Reason: Less grumpy :) |
