Hi I'm experiencing some problems with this cool rpg. I need the map of the world of Kalynthia wich was included in the box of the game. If somebody have a scanned copy of the map and want to share it pls contact me.

Abandoned Places was the xmas freebie release from SPS (former CAPS) some year ago (2002?) as such, maybe they sacnned also maps and all, i suggest to try to contact them and ask. maybe fiath can help you? let us posted about it tough, i'm partial to start the game sooner or later

Actually, that was the sequel.

For the first one you are better off using the map as the story makes references to some of the locations highlighted on the map.

Well I have an English original, but getting hold of an Italian version may not be easy.
I remember somebody was selling the Italian version on some website, but for some reason we couldn't get it...

I don't have the map, but I spent several weeks of searching and I found all of the dungeon locations up to the Hall of Rage. Would you like a short list?

I see no chance of selling or trading it - as it was quite difficult to get hold of my game again

If anyone can scan it though feel free to post it.

Below is a partial list to be included a review that I'm writing for rpgclassics.com

The Steps: Mountain range directly north of Kerolith
Mystic Mountains: The mountain range on the Island of Mists, where Vo Marris and Mageport lie.
Broken Isles: In the far NE corner, there is a small island that a ferry goes back and forth
to.
Summer Vale: Forest south of Timberville
Mount Griffin: Very large peak SW of Hyde
Burning Sands: The only desert in the game. Blindingly obvious.
Lorn Hills: Northeast of Frampton
Lake Pure Heart: This is the lake where Preur(sp?) Abbey is in the middle of
Seer's Point: Lower SW of continent coastline, west of Sorceral
Lake of Dreams: The lake on the Island of Mists
Island of Lament - This is the huge island west of the mainland

Greetings,

well, maybe it's too late but there's map I've done with WinUAE screencaps and completed with the location names from an old black&white scan I had.

The map is in full color and resized to 751x600 (original is 1280x1022 can send by email if asked)
Landmasses are typed in 3d black&white
Cities are typed in white and bold
Capital Kal Kalon is typed in 3d black&red
Dungeons are typed in black bold and italic
The black dots show the entrances of the dungeons
The ferries lines are in green color

An old thread but the problem exists. Using Herekion's map I was trying to find dungeons but I can't find them. What should I do to find them and enter them?

You may have to finish some other tasks first or try entering on feet.
