Furtum Sacrum, AmigaWave cancelled game.

Hi Amiga friends here a short video of the new amiga game Furtum Sacrum developed by the group AmigaWave.
This is an a very early stage of the project. Enjoy.

EDIT: After some differences with the pixel artist on how to understand this hobby, he left the group and now it's impossible finish this project ( less than 50% of graphics was done ). Because this reason AmigaWave cancel this project.

It's ripped graphics from In the Name of the Rose, presumably by our old friend Amiten.

Luckely it's not an Amiten game and not ripped graphics. This graphics are created by Jojo073 inspired in the 80`s movie In the Name of the Rose.

Not all Spanish user or development groups in Spain have relationship with your friend Amiten. Remember this is an AmigaWave project.

I'm sorry for implying that you're Amiten, but the use of AMOS + early announcement + "title screen first" development philosophy is very similar.

Yes i know, but we usually finish our products with hi quality, original music, original graphics and as a free download game. This is the difference.
Check our recent finish game RetroWars ( for now only in Spanish, now we are working in English version ) Enjoy.

http://www.arananet.net/retrowars/

I know that Amiten fame precede all other Spanish projects. But Amiten is a joke developer here too.

All our graphics are made with deluxepaint in pixel art mode, not jpg reducted or scanned images.
We usually try make games like old school , music made in protracker , code in Amos or other games engine, gfx in deluxepaint etc... We try to work very hard to our games works fine on a standard Amiga 500 with 1 Mb.

All games have the same appearance in the early stages, it's normal situation that first make the title screen and the primary character walking in some preliminar rooms to promote the project.
We don't have time and knowledge to make the game in assembler, this is the reason because we use game engines or easy and fast languages like Amos to do our projects.

We don't try to make the game of the movie In the Name of the Rose, we only inspire in the argumental line to create the game. A game inspired in the atmosphere of the movie.

Looks similar to [ Show youtube player ] is this the same AMOS engine or new version?

You should draw 50% smaller heads, because now they looks like all have an hydrocephalus.

New engine, please edit your link this is no the final release of retrowars. Here the final release as free download. We don´t have any relationship with Amiten person or programs , games, projects, youtube channel, etc...

Your link is the non playable version of Amiten, was our first programmer for the project but when we saw the result , quickly we chance the programer and recode a new version from scratch.

In the first version of Amiten simply we design game, graphics, history, music and all concepts of the game except code. After view results we decide change programer and recode the game again.

The Style of graphics are similar because are from the same pixel art artist Jojo073.
This size of head is necesary when you try to paint in 320x256 pixels resolution and you want to recognize character by details on the face. Cartoon style.

If you have some questions about the differences between Amiten engine and our AmigaWave engine, try to play 2 min with both versions.
