I tend to do it all on WINUAE first, and so use the adf files of the workbench disks. Having said that its been a while and you need to be careful with which CF cards you use.
Whereabouts in the UK are you? Also : http://classicwb.abime.net/classicweb/instructions.htm if you haven't read through that already. |

So I should just it do it through an emulator, I'm using a Kingston cf card, in Oxfordshire, so do you think I should just buy the disks from Amigakit, and no I have not read that I will in a min.

OK - just wondered if you were near my neck of the woods.
What do you want to get out of this experience? Is it (a) just to have the miggy set up to play games, or (b) are you interested in having done it yourself? Also there are different versions of classic workbench (as opposed to the original workbench) to suit different specs. |

would of been lucky if I was
I want to have more of an understanding of my commodore nostalgia I guess, yes that would be my main hope just for games as I don't have much interest in photo or sound work, and yes the main thing is that I'm doing it my self with tips from this great site |

Another hint if you are going to be experimenting with cf cards- use a free disk imager like hdd raw copy to make backups of the card as you progress. Can save much frustration..
