I wouldn't bother
IIRC Jesus on E's was AGA only and therefore it runs like a pig on current emulators.
I wouldn't bother trying to get it, you'll only be dissapointed. |

AGA!?
Sorry but Jesus On E's is not AGA only at all.
The LSD demonstration had only one requirement and that was 2 floppy units, it works on an A500 so somehow I doubt that it was AGA only. It does work on an A1200 with Relokick but may crash without it - JONES is ECS/OCS. The reason it doesn't run very well on current emulators is due to incomplete/inaccurate emulation of the ECS chipset which causes the emulator to lag behind the music - that's all. Hmmmm
I wonder what I was cnofusing it with. Was there a sequel? Maybe I was confusing it with Jesus on E's II.
I remember that I couldn't run Jesus on E's on my A500, but that was cos I only had one disc drive. When I borrowed a second one I'm not sure I could run it with the second disc drive because it then didn't have enough memory. Just my recolection. Anyway the point remains, Jesus on E's is known to be a bastard to run on Emulators. |

To Gibby
I didn't mean to bite your head off mate. Here's some specs for the Demo to completely clear things up:
Name: Jesus On E's Developed By: LSD Media: 2 floppy disks Requirements: 1MB RAM (512KB upgrade on A500s) Kickstart 1.3 (unpatched version) 2 Floppy Drive Units The patched version requires: 1MB RAM Kickstart 1.3 or higher (now works on all Amigas) 2 Floppy Drive Units As for the demo being a bastard on emulators - yep I totally agree with that one. There have been many clones of this demo released for the Amiga 1200/4000 only (AGA) so it would be pretty easy to get the demo confused. There is also a similar demo which works on Kickstarts 2.05 and higher only with the name (Jesus On Cheese) which again is available at ALE. |
