If only it was that easy! As I understand it, to convert it to WHDload you have to be able to code a slave file for it.

I ask this cos I know it uses DIC on some of the installs to copy the disk in to a file called disk1 in the games folder,I want to use a generic slave on it cos i have got Fruit maina working now with a generic slave.

Googling I've found this "Tutorial on how to create a WHDLoad slave."

http://steve.odyfamily.com/?page_id=22

Near the end.
You have to use DIC from the shell to make an image of it first, but that isn't all.

BTW did you solve your problem with the right click menu? http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=65191

Yeah I will do once its copied my hd to my cf card,it on there you see.
I include whdload 15.1 with it cos it don't work with 17.1,I changed it the info to whdload to use mine is called whdload151,you just put it in your C folder.

Do you want Fruit Mania too..??

I let you know when it done..it will take a while it copying all my games over.

If anyone wants a game thats not whdloaded yet I can do it with the generic slave, the slave is 1Mb so it only needs 1 Mb to run.let me know.

They work great, but... do they work from Tiny Launcher or IGame?

Perhaps I did something wrong.

Perhaps I did something wrong, but it didn't appear in the list in both; Igame or TL. I re-scanned them in IG.
The question is if they work in yours, so I can check what I did wrong.

It seems very easy (I've just googled a little). I've done one right now for ACD, but I coudn't find a good image to start. You only have to get an image of the game you like and resize it to around 320x256 (what I've seen others have), 256 colors.
It has to be iff, so you can use like I've done, Ultimate Paint http://www.ultimatepaint.com/ in the PC, and then rename it as igame.iff

But your game doesn't work with IGame, even adding it to the list as not Whdload games, it doesn't work there.

I've uploaded what I've done. This isn't a rar file (I just can't upload .iff files). Rename it as igame.iff
Attached Files
File Type: rar ACD.rar (72.2 KB, 123 views)

I think its too big ,the file cos 1943 igame.iff is only 13880KB and yours is 73928KB..

And I would make it on the Amiga where you can test it..

Oh you can add ACD manuely in Igame..

I am so happy I have a cf adapter now and using a cf card as my hard drive, its so easy to add files to it now..

Here is the instructions for it.. http://cd.textfiles.com/assassins/in...e/amoscoindrop

Sorry, no idea. Anyway my image is very bad. You've have to get a good one to start from. I can't get it running from Igame or TL with or without it.

Edit: Sorry, I've just seen your post. I don't think it will be so important anyway. So if you delete it you get it running in TL or IGame? I thought you were claiming it was starting and older WHDload so I thought you coudn't run it either.

Booting from RAD should be indentical to booting from any other media.
Ive used a rad "disk" to set up my harddrives filesystems for example by just copying dh0: to rad:, rebooting from RAD, and reformatting dh0:, then copying data back over.

Not exactly what youre asking about admittedly, but it does demonstrate that it works like any other media.
