The Amigas Most Bizarre Games

I would have created a poll for this thread but I can't think of too many bizarre games right now. The one that springs to mind for me is a game I got a couple of days ago. Wizkid by Sensi Software is just so bizarre it's unreal. It's the sequal to the C64/Amiga classic Wizball which is also by Sensible. There's lot's of great humour in there but it ain't half strange. You have to rescue kittens by moving a head around bashing blocks to kill badies. The baddies give you musical notes which you collect into a tune and then you grow a body and can run around!! The game turns into an platform adventure which is equally as bizarre. This has to be one of Amigas most bizarre games ever! It's really great fun though. Especially the tune with the cannons at the start of the game. Anyone got any other entries into the Amiga's Bizarre Hall of Fame?

North & South IS NOT weird !!!!

North and South is based on a weird French comic about the American Civil War. It has the following weird things:

1. You can click on the ass of the photographer on the titlescreen to make him laugh.
2. National anthem tunes are played with animal noises.
3. The whole game is weird!

I would've thought N&S doesn't need defending, it's not a bad sort of hybrid arcade/strategy game.
To get back to "weird" titles or at least original, I'd put foward the original version of Lemmings-I think the number of versions it spawned says something about it's originality??

Wizkid is incredibly wierd and bizarre but that doesn't mean that it's a bad game. Quite the opposite in fact because Wizkid is a great game. It's just mindless crazy fun. Amiga Format magazine gave it 91% I think. I've got the review somewhere. I think the same applies to N&S. Great games can be wierd as well as dodgy games. Though looking at some of the screenshots there appears to be quite a lot of bizarre french stuff that's been made.

Yep, in most cases. weird = great, because of teh original ideas.

Though Dangerous Streets is only CRAP on second thought. ONly weird thing in it is its approach to graphics and gameplay :P

Carlos (another frenchy, Microids methinks) was another weirdie. Pavarotti-like guy who wears red-with-yellow-flowers pajamas and morphs onto a bull and abcducts little kids? WTF? This was both weird and crap.

I agree. North and south wasn't weird. It had some strange features maybe, but it wasn't downright weird. But a lot of fun.

I didn't think Alphawave was weird either. It was an attempt at a 3D platform game, what's so weird about that? Does that make Mario 64 weird too?

HEY, btw, have you ever heard about a VERY weird Amiga game called MADSHOW??? I saw this game running on an old A500 in a computer shop, something like twelve years ago... I've then lost his tracks. If anyone own it... please, upload it in the adf zone!

The deal is, to make every man and women to disappear from a party .... therefor, you have to fart, put dead animals in other people jackets and all that things

I could never figure out that game but I always thought it had to be cool. Must give it a try! Teh thing is I hate Speccy shovelware on teh C64. Conversions like that were so arse
