No normal crashes with reset, etc. (This would be a software problem, surely) is as if suddenly froze the Amiga, but no reset, is left with a white or black screen while watching a demo, or only with the Wb screen. sometimes stays image (demo, game, etc) frozen. Nor does signs of life the HDD or Floppy drive, suddenly not click, but continuous electrical signal, keyboard LEDs, LED CF, Blizzard fan.
I tested with another PSU ATX new. Definitely, the PSU is not the problem. The problem is P8-P9 connections of the Mediator (bad connection). It could also be the AT-ATX adapter cable (loose wire, connectors looseness...). Maybe the pastrough of the Mediator. But it almost certainly is the P8-P9 (P9 I think). Pressure with the computer turned on, it was the only way to isolate the fault. If I stop put pressure, in a few seconds it freezes. Maybe a long shot, but you could also try re-seating the mach chips on the Mediator. If it's solely the PSU connector maybe Amigakit could fix it (or better yet get a Mediator TX).

Well, as you have not closed the thread .. continuous counting things.
I took her to a workshop, the Mediator. Suggested soldering the cable directly to the connectors P8P9. That I did. Now same has been an hour and not to Blocking. However, some minor bugs have been detected in the chips of the mediator. For this I believe that I will open another thread. |
