I love International Karate +
And, in my opinion, probably the only fighting game worth playing over and over again.... on the Amiga, of course.
Now agree with me! |

What? You too? I have been playing IK+ lately and found it still very enjoyable. 2-player mode is of course even more interesting . Too bad i'm tempted to use the space-cheat when in trouble. I just wish there was an option to choose the number of fight-rounds between the bonus-games.

Join the club. It's one of the best fighters ever made.
Although I think Shadow Fighter on the Amiga is just as good. |

A classic that will never die. Great playability and level of difficulty. It also works nice as a multiplayer game! HAIE!

Fantastic game, but it's the speed more than anything that I love about this game. Whack it into turbo mode and...... wow!

Wonderful game
When you are fighting a periscope come out the water, sometime a fish jump out of water and Pacman (3D) in the background |

I love this game too although controlling the character moves can be tricky sometimes.

This game is best played on the tape version on C64 imo.

You can move real fast if you press joystick forward --> forward-up (repeat) in a certain tempo . That way you can e.g. try to hit the karate master at the start of bomb-survival bonusgame. Needless to say, he doesn't take any damage from that .
Dunno if this works on the C-64 version... |

Just one thing though that nobody EVER seems to answer
Why is it not possible to effectively block? iv'e seen the little guy's hand go up in an attempt to block, but it serves absolutely no purpose resulting in still being kicked in the head I guess some people just don't like to play defensively but then why is the option to block included - may as well take it out surely Unless i really am doing this all wrong but so far nobody has ever answered just why it is blocking is broken What am i doing wrong exactly? Anybody? |

Well, the C64 manual says :
Quote:
I think I remember that you can block certain moves that way, but not all. |

Best fighting game that doesn't follow the "Hadoken" style of fighters. I include 3D fighters when making this assessment. stupid 3d fighters...
