ISOCD problem
Hi,
When I'm creating my ISO file with ISOCD using CDTV.TM it works fine, but if I select CD32.TM, the .iso file is corrupt (won't even open with 7-zip) and of course does not boot. any ideas? |

I'm not familiar with ISOCD. Is that an Amiga or Windows program?
EDIT: Ah yes, just found it. It's part of the CD32 developer kit. |

@jotd:
Have also experienced that, multiple times. What always work for me is to do things in this order: 1. Start ISOCD 2. Select CD32.TM 3. Optionally change the default name 4. Select source dir 5. Select output image file 6. Examine 7. Build |

Are there any files or folders with non-standard characters or long names?

@patrik: thanks, selecting CD32 TM file BEFORE examing file allowed to create a correct image. There's a bug in ISOCD.
BTW I wanted to use your layout generator along with batch mode but it failed (maybe my CD is too big). ISOCD gave me an error: not enough free disk space Edit: I am a bozo: I specified an invalid ISO output path. It worked a treat: I'm using the automated method now!!! thanks. @earok: no, with "CDTV" it works. Last edited by jotd; 26 March 2016 at 22:52. |

I always start setpatch in startup so I guess this is the same with CD32/CDTV.

As Patrik said select cd32.tm before examine because if you examine it before, isocd will reserve that 20k(or how big cdtv.tm is) and put smaller cd32.tm in that space and that can cause problems. Just take a look at the right of the window where TOC and those data and numbers are.

Ok! I've switched back to ISOCD batch mode with layout precomputed by Patrik script: no more issues!!!
