Okay, I've added to the list all those new games mentioned above for which both Author/DL pages and original EAB threads can be specified.

Edit: If anyone can supply those details for the other games mentioned (Szalter, Rebirth AGA, etc.), then please add them here.

Mr Beanbag is still in development, currently in the middle of massive refactoring into a more flexible modular structure.

Cool, are you also going to add any new features?

Should be possible in future to install custom modules to do various things, such as replace the main character. It is already possible to load alternative game worlds from disk.

Working towards a game creation system. But of course I also need to finish the final boss so the game can be completed, and there are issues with the design of some levels that need sorting out.

Great news! This is THE game I'm looking forward to see finished. Heck I'd be happy even if the only addition was getting the last boss finished

Good news for those who can't code, like me.
Could you give us some details about it (I assume it's a platform game creator) ?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to see your game creation system !

Well I need also to produce a map editor that I wouldn't be ashamed to release to the public. I'd like one of those for my own use as well to be honest.

It won't just be for platform games, other types of scrolling game will be possible. For platform game just turn gravity on!

I'm trying to devise a scripting language for it so you can create any character/enemy behaviour that you like, or you could choose from a library of characters and customise various parameters. But until then just an editor for Mr Beanbag worlds and levels.

Yeah, map/level editors are a PITA to code. I made my own one in AMOS, but there is a bug when switching between certain tile sizes (source tile screen should auto align, but doesn't always align correctly) so I haven't released it - besides the fact it is a little crude (though functional). Source tiles must be on a IFF file (max size IIRC 1000x1000) and the level data can be saved in binary format or assembler data format.

I also agree with Brolly, please get the game finished before Christmas

Secret of Maya [ Show youtube player ] Platform game with anime/manga style hero. Enemies and items are programmed. I think music is too heavy and out of place. Another good game in near future
