Legacy?

Hola this time i'm looking for info on a possible big hit in my fav-ones list some years ago, that instead never made to the light...
i first read of it in a italian K magazine around '93 i think, it was a preview of a dozen of lines with just two little pictures. the game was presented as Legacy, a Eye of the beholder-like game, a first-person rpg with a twist for sci-fi horror.
The screenshots, as far as i remember, were much blue-gray coloured and i think there was a skeleton in one of the two... my memory tremble.
I don't think that it really gone gold, but maybe has been relabelled? Do you know something about it?
thanks

I don't know, but DosBox *might* help.
http://dosbox.zophar.net

Untested, though.

Dosbox only run a small portion of stuff right now. Doesn't emulate protected mode (Dos4GW for example), doesn't emulate enough memory for much, and the sound board emulation isn't too sharp either, but if you get it working with something it works great.

Whoops. Thanks for telling me. This means Duke Nukem won't work. But Pinball Dreams (PC) would work on that I think!
I still remember the trouble I had to go through when configuring the memory so that it could leech it's 580KB from the dos mem ... those were the days...

I should try getting CD support in dosbox and trying Pinball fantasies and dreams through that to see if it works.

while cheking this old thread, i spot that at this link TomTom posted, http://www.thelegacy.de/Museum/game.php3?game_id=5603 there is an amiga version mentioned. probably what Dizzy said about conversion is true tough.

still no news?

I think it was previewed in Amiga magazines (e.g. CU Amiga, June 1993) because it was planned to be converted to formats other than the PC. But it wasn't!

I dont think that The Legacy (not the game) always is correct, if I remember right they have some misinformation about amiga game.

If the legacy (the game) were released for the amiga it would not have been on the 500-600 but on a 1200. Looking at the pc version you can see it's on 7 HD disk, guess how many amiga disk it would take (around 12-14), making it almost pain in the *** to play if you dont own a HD wich most amigaowner didn't back then

Actually there was another game in development for a long time by Imagitec with the development (and possibly retail) title of "Legacy".
It was meant to be a fantasy rpg, the programmers did a piss poor job, the graphics was nice.
