New(ish) to the site

Hi All,
registered a while back and was just checking in when I realised I had already registered.

Long time Amiga owner, I had a CDTV back when the 1200 launched as I have always been a bit behind. Always kept an eye on things long after I stopped owning. Quite a few years back my folks gifted me my old 1200, my sister's 600 and all the gear. Also got a load of old Speccy gear.

I think I've just been overwhelmed by options. Whilst I enjoy RMC, Jan Beta, 10 Minute Amigacast etc I am not sure I have that kind of commitment. I tried figuring out whats up with my Amitek Hawk and adding a flash DOM to my 600. I've gotten partially there. I was unemployed for quite a bit so couldn't warrant big expenditures.

My current Fleet is:
Amiga 1200 + 100mb OG HDD + Amitek Hawk 1mb (issues with the board mean higher simms don't work, I have stacks) + Archos Overdrive 2x CD + Not recapped
Amiga 600 + Chipram expansion + Not recapped

PCMCIA -> CF -> SD card for both
DB9 -> PS2 over USB -> MS Optical Mouse
Various Joysticks/Pads: Zip Sticks, Quickshot Arcade style (non-microswitch boo)
Magazines, legit games, less legit games, cover disks
512mb DOM, but I think I chipped the connector, so meh
Chinese Scart to HDMI
Monitor to VGA to test the 15khz status of my existing monitors (none work)

So I put in a bit over the years. I had dreams of a Vampired 600 running AGA games. That was when I was in solid employment.

I think now I could easily see me selling off the 600 (even the 1200) and just getting a Mister/V4 standalone/Amiga mini console.

I know this has gone all agony aunt ish, but I feel like I am constantly putting off doing anything.

Not sure where I am going with this now. I guess I just wanted to get it out to a crowd that might understand.
