1081 monitor rubber feet?

Does anybody sell replacement rubber feet for 1081 monitors?

So this is what I've ended up with. Original on the right for comparison.

They're made with Shore 70A TPE, which is "like a running shoe sole". They're a good fit in the hole. I don't know how far the originals stuck out of the hole, but these have a foot part that's 2mm thick. Once fitted, that's all you can see, and it looks neat, plus you only see them if you turn the monitor over, so I think that's all ok.

This is the point in the story where the protagonist discovers that the front feet are not the same as the back feet.

Why would they do that? Why?

EDIT:

It's not just the slot, the front feet have a wider foot section, are angled, and are much taller.
