Amiga 4000 for sale

Hello, it has been a while since I have been here, due to cash problems I have placed my A4000 on Ebay for sale,
It has been a painfull desision though I can't just give it away so if it goes for the reserve it goes, if not I will be happy to fix the FDD and put a new CDR in the machine then store it away again.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=8279241339

It's a shame but I need the money

Well, with a 060 accelerator, 128 MB ram, graphics card (desription says Picasso, but looks more like a CV64/3D to me..), Toccata sound card, etc, it is almost as good as it gets. An ethernet card, and you have a quite nice Amiga system.

Cheers, silly me getting the GFX card wrong, it's a hard thing to want to sell, I use to use it a lot. The only thing I wil nt sell is my A500 with the A570 and the GVP HD as it was my first computer and extras.

This computer did have an ethernet at one time though I could not get it to work and gave up, I saw another ethernet card with the RJ45 on Ebay not so long ago and was thinking of trying again.

Is the highest bidder one of you ? if he isn't he really belongs here as I have emailed him and he is a Amiga fanatic, he told me he has wanted one of these since he saw it, must admit I will probably end up buying another one day as it is one of the machines I really wanted to keep, when I am rich again I will probably buy one or a A4000T and build it up again, probably with a PPC this time (Does OS4 work on the older Amigas with a PPC?).
I will carry on using my Amiga 500, though is no where near as great as the 4000D it's my first computer, all my music and games are on the GVP Impact series II and the PDCD disk I loved so much works on the A570 (Great device, 1 speed, crashes the computer if you try to change the disk), Need to get a new monitor now though

I can think of 999,999 better things to do with 500 quid, but to each their own!
