Here's an idea
As the Hall of Light is planned to be the greatest Amiga database ever, why don't we add some extra stuff like hardware box scans, like joystick or computer boxes? Many of these stuff are already lost! Wouldn't it be interesting to remember how a competition pro 5000 box looked like?

For now, the HOL is the GREATEST Amiga Commercial Games databse.
I don't think that, for now, consideration of other stuff should be added. And the more focused it is, the better! Mind you, a hardware side-project could be started. Anyone interested? I can help out a bit too |

Top top idea. I would gladly contribute to this.
I have all manners of Joystick boxes for instance that would be cooool to see scanned and displayed |

Looks like a new project is born!
HOL will focus on commercial games and nothing else. If we expand it further, you will have to wait another two years for the launch... |

There you go. How about starting an Amiga catalogue project?
However, there is a similar site already! So why not contribute to it instead? (or form some kind of strategic alliance with them ) No need to reinvent the wheel, is it? |

Any side projects come along, let me know. I have a bunch of scans of hardware (sorry, no cards or chips, though). And apps, too. I have many boxscans for non-games that have no place in HOL. But like Walker said, there’s so much more work going into the existing HOL, adding anything to it would just defer the project further and none of us want that!

Damn...very nice site. I should send that guy the scan of my old AAR (A500) since it seems to be the one he’s missing a pic of (useless as that old dog is!) I hate to see such a complete collection missing one vital piece!

I cannot live without amiga-hardware.com but it's purpose is not exactly the same.
