Favourite Pinball Dreams/Fantasies/Illusions Tables

Ok I'm guessing that the majority of people here will have played one of these games. If so that what is your All time favourite Pinball table. I'm writting these down from memory so there may be one of more mistakes. Also if you do have a favourite any specific reasons?

I still favor Ignition. Mainly because it came on a magazine demo and I played that until it hurt. The music is still top notch, and it's a good simple layout. Nice to see Digital Illusions is still making good games too!

I've hardly played them at all, I was busy listening to the awesome music... My opinion is that these games have got some of the best mod music...ever.

I play Stones and bones mainly now. Speed Devils was good. But I have to say Ignition did have the best music

Most of the table's from Dreams made it the best of the bunch IMHO. The later games seemed to feel a little too cluttered. I feel Steel Wheel had the longest playability of those, but for some strange reason I find it a lot harder to nail certain bonus areas of the that table I used to do well on.
Ironically, one of my least favourite Beatbox is generally the one I perform best on when I have a go now & then.

I agree with Zark, I think Dreams got the best table designs. All 4 tables are great IMO.

In Fantasies, only Skulls & Bones and Party Land are good, the other 2 are boring tables.

And Illusions.. pfff, I only enjoyed Law and Order, and still it was no match for the 4 tables of Dreams.

What games are Digital Illusions doing? I haven't seen anything from them for ages! (To be quite honest, I only know the Pinball Trilogy and Benefactor from them)

well its strange you ask that. Because yesterday i went onto the Digital Illusions Site. To find out they are now called Dice and have recently made a little game called Battlefield 1942 i think they are one of the only companies to keep going.

I don't agree. Pinball Dreams doesn't really have great table design. Only Steel Wheel is somewhat playable, the other three stink badly. Fantasies is way better! Only Speed Devils is boring in that collection, the other three are the best of all the choices of this poll. Illusions is boring.

Maybe it has something to do with how much you play each game. I gave more time to Dreams than to Fantasies, and more time to Fantasies than to Illusions.

I knew all the in-outs of every Dreams table, so maybe that's why I got the most of it. (I had a hi-score of around 150 million on the Nightmare table! )

I didn't know about all that stuff with Digital Illusion. Besides the Pinball Trilogy, Benefactor also was a great game, and they probably could do fine in other genres.

And talking about Pinball games, anyone ever tried Addiction Pinball for PC?

Just been playing illusions again and I'm really impressed by all the tables. The graphics are very impressive, design and playability fine.

In Fantasies AGA they seem to have created the ECS version first and simply splashed extra colours everywhere.

In illusions, the tables have been designed with AGA palette from scratch and it shows. Shame that they only provided three of them.
