iFusion
I'm getting a Cyberstorm PPC and I like to try this. Can someone upload this please or is that against EAB's rules?

Ahh..you're going PowerUP, congrats!
I'm highly interested in IFusion too The manafacturer is long gone so is their wepgage so I'm quite sure it's no harm uploading it |

Yep, now I have a new challenge; PPC on Amiga!
I'm really unexperienced with PPC. The whole WarpOS vs. PowerUP thing confuses me and I don't know what I can do with it yet... But I do know I want to try MorphOS. It should be possible to use it with my setup. |

You can run both WarpUP/PowerUP apps bu installing PPCLibEMU which emulates PowerUP on a WarpUP system MOS PUP is great, should run fine on your system and you also have a PIV which should be more than enough. I use to run MOS PUP with my CybervisionPPC but now I'm using a Cybervision 64/3D...works quite well but it has it's limitations |

Yeah I know about the WarpOS PowerUP history. Typical Amiga situation!
Anyway you're running MOS too? Doesn't the PIV have similar limitations as your CV64/3D? They are pretty the same in specs? |

Only thing which they share is the same amount of video mem and that they both work in ZII and ZIII machines |

Ah ok!
I was already investigating looking for a CV-PPC, Mediator or G-Rex. But I don't really want to lose the excellent SD/FF feature of my PIV. I'm gonna try MOS with the PIV first. Just curious; do you know if you can combine a PIV and any other VGA card in one Amiga to use one monitor in such a way that it auto switches for every screenmode? I guess you need an automatic VGA switch, but can you make Picasso96 or CGX do it? |

Remember MOS doesn't work with a Mediator 4000, if you get a CvisionPPC there's aways nice electronic monitor switches...I'm using one myself with high end gold plated VGA cabes Didn't want to use my CV64/3D scandouber modue since it's not fully 24bit that's why I'm using a monitor switcher on this machine Please, does anyone have IFusion? ...pretty please |

So no Mediator, hehe!
Getting back to topic (sort of): is there a mac emulator for MOS? What are MOS killer apps? |

@Flashlab, Amigaz
iFusion PPC V1.0 + updates in the Zone! Enjoy! Note: I think iFusion will only work with A3/4000 + Cyberstorm PPC because Jim Drew never resolved critical bugs that prevented it working on PPC equipped A1200s. |

Thanks a lot, DrBong! Can't wait to try!
Now let me ask this: is it really that bad? |

@Flashlab
That bad? How do you mean? From memory, it was fairly usable on A4000 + Cyberstorm when I tried it way back when. Wasn't a picnic to set up, though. Try it out and let us know what you think. |

I never tried it myself but I remember that it was a horrible product when it was released. Do not remember exactly why, but I think it was unstable, crashed a lot and did not work with network cards. Oh and it cost about 200 euro I think... crazy!

I read that is slow. Not like the original Fusion that is as fast as the Mac that it's emulating with the same 68k.
And no networking; so no internet. But I'll try and see for myself! |

Couldn`t find a PPC-MAC-Rom that works with iFusion. Could someone upload such a rom to the zone please. That would be great. Thanks.
