LHA Bootstrap Install for AmigaOS 1.x?
To bootstrap LHA tools for the classic Amiga (2.0+), one runs the self extractable lha.run (v2.12) from Aminet and follows the instructions in the extracted LhA.guide.
Now what about for AmigaOS 1.x? What tool/version to use? I narrowed a search down to this, and I'm currently stuck with the slim information available on Aminet readme files. This might be trivial for someone who engaged in this "back-in-the-day", and so I ask for a little help. Thanks . |

If you search for: http://aminet.net/search?query=lha+.run
You'll find: http://aminet.net/package/util/arc/LhA_e138 |

For thread completion sake, is there by any chance anything out there for KS/WB1.1 (or even 1.0)? I suppose not since the LHA file format is from 1988 and by then A1000 users might have already upgraded to KS1.2 (they just needed the ROM on a floppy, and not a physical ROM). |
