Recommend your favourite isometric adventure games

So what are your favourite isometric adventure type games on the Amiga? I'm looking for games along the lines of Cadaver, the Immortal and Heimdall etc.

I love games with that perspective so I'm wondering what gems I might have missed.

Please don't just list all examples of isometric games. I just want to know what you recommend.

Head Over Heels! Graphically a bit basic for the Miggy (I play the Spectrum version) but very good...

Darkmere is good and very close to Cadaver (*cough* ripoff *cough* ). Still a cool game though.

D/Generation is pretty good, even if the graphics are hideous.

Also, more of an RPG than an adventure, but I have fond memories of Shadowlands, and I think there was a sci-fi version by the same developers (never played that one though).

D/Generation is good, but it is a puzzle game disguised as an adventure, but still worth a few hours of play.

I enjoyed Heimdall II. A few things I remember:

1. You can play as Heimdall, or Ursha, a valkyrie. There's rarely any reason to switch between characters, since only the current character gains experience, and the load time when switching is hefty. I used Ursha for extra inventory space. :roll

2. There's a fun bug where if you shoot an attack spell at a portal, it bounces off and you can pick it up. It appears in your inventory as a bread. You can use this bread as a throwing weapon, and can stack.

3. Use the Create Item spell when close to the Ro'Geld. Keep at it until you get good at this sort of magic. Odds are you'll create more mana potions than the mana cost, and can sell the items at the shop for ridiculous amounts of money.

4. There's an annoying bug in the room where you meet your shadow (the time it doesn't try to kill you). De-equip your bow and arrow, or you can trigger a bug that your shadow fires an arrow off-screen.

When i first played it i was young and it seemed confusing at the beginning (i'm not dunric, why can't they get the name right?) but by the time I could finish it i was old enough to appreciate the game's really good story.

Thanks for the links. Never played either of the above games, they look like they are worth giving a go.

Rather accurate, considering that Airball was originally an 8-bit game (on the Dragon 32).

Thanks for the recommendations guys. Treasure Trap I hadn't heard of and it looks nice! Shadowlands I had heard of but never really looked into it. Time to investigate further

TCD

I played Darkmere and quite enjoyed what I played. I seem to remember there being a lot of backtracking though and the combat felt a bit awkward.

Just remembered another one myself - Escape from Colditz.
