Thanks, the OCS/ECS bug and the JIT bug are now fixed. Did Pelya get any time to look at the jittery mouse in workbench etc. and the bad sound when the keyboard is displayed ?

maybe ever...

We have also another problems with libSDL:
- multithread video mode does not work with many new devices
- SDL currently not support changing relative/direct mouse mode without restarting app, which would be useful for using mousehack

TomB released a new fix that makes IK+ ADF version work properly again. Is it only a fix for that game or a bug in the entire emulation ?

Thanks Lubomyr.

Have you personally tried the RP9 support ? I put the Amiga Forever workbench HDF's and some RP9 games and demos in the RP9 folder. They all appear in the configuration window but when loading and running they don't load into the game/demo. I'm not that bothered though.

I just noticed that Speedball 2 always hangs after a few minutes of play. It just stops responding the sound stops too. The emulator menu still works and I can reset and load a new game etc. I tried a few adfs. I am not sure if this is a known bug.

Uae4arm JITv2 beta (Android port)

uae4arm-jit2-beta-android-06052016.apk

As i see rp9 now works in this version:
Usage: Copy rp9 files and the three "workbench-xyz.hdf" files to folder "Android/data/uae4arm/files/rp9".
All files of a rp9 archive added to the last used disk list, so you can easily select them with the dropdown control in the floppy panel.

TomB released new beta of uae4arm for pandora with JITv2

Changes:
- some fixes and a big performance improvement. SysInfo gives now a 80% higher value compared to old JIT.

How are you getting on with an 'android computer' version (stop any onscreen keyboard)?
I hope to try the version you post yesterday later.

Android version currently have few problems:
1) sound problem. Sound in NTSC and P96 mode works not correct (uae4arm related).
2) multi-threaded video mode not works with new devices (SDL related).
3) virtual keyboard (SDL related). We need transparency or floating keyboard. In any way implementation of them is very complicated.
4) mousehack impossible to use without changes in SDL-settings with disabling of relative mode (which require restart application).

Thanks Lubomyr, I'm still using JIT v1 as I have no use for extra speed as Android is fast enough already. A couple of questions as usual.

What do you mean by 'mousehack impossible to use' ? I'm using it.

Is there a keycode I can map on physical controls to bring up the on-screen keyboard so I don't have to enable any on-screen buttons ?

RP9 works on JIT v1 now as well and I'm starting to like them as they also set the correct configuration and screen resolution.

JITv2 is good for run very complicated demos or 3d games

I mean mousehack works correct only if disabled tick 'Relative mouse movement' in startup sdl-settings: Mouse emulation: Advanced features.

If we want to enable relative mouse mode again we must restart app and via SDL settings enable tick on 'Relative mouse movement'.

I want to do switching of mousehack via uae4arm menu without any action in startup SDL menu.
