Burseg's non-tosec adfs

After organizing my disks with the latest DATs, I noticed I still have more than 1200 unknown adfs

. Maybe I won't be able to identify most of them but I think it's the time to share some rarest stuff so that everyone enjoys them and they can be listed in next DATs. I'll start uploading them after I finish posting my messages.

The first one is a role playing game:

Name: Ýstanbul Efsaneleri - Lale Savaþçýlarý
Disks: 2
Company: SiliconWorx
Language: Turkish (Tr)
Year: 19??
Protection: Manual

This game is not yet cracked but I'm uploading the manual as well. The interesting point is, it always asks me to enter the 5th word on page 59 which is "lafin" so maybe someone cracked it without a notice.

This one is also a manual protected game but I don't have the manual, sorry

, I thought that was just Towels ...Interesting , Have you ever played Byzantine the betrayel on the PC ? (6 Cds full of istanbul)

Yep made in Turkey, and there is also Umut Tarlalarý (which is already tosecized) and some other minor titles on Amiga.

I've not played Byzantine but a friend of mine did. I've read a few rewievs and it's said to be a good adventure game. It's not officially a Turkish title. Interplay released it but some of the people who did it might be Turkish.

Also a PC version of Lale Savaþçýlarý was released a few years ago. There are some other companies that make PC games here. sadly many of other titles don't worth mentioning.

There are lots of disks in my collection which contain common games with an introductory title like, "this game was imported by <the name of the guy who first got it from a BBS and spread it>"

Tosec doesn't recognize them and so I'm trying to prevent the spreading of these useless [a] crap and identify the contents of every single ADF before I claim it's something new!

Muhtar is well, the guy who is like the headmen of a small town and his status is given by law. He's just like a mayor but his authorization is somewhat limited. The idea of a muhtar, wandering in dungeons collecting stuff is quite humorous.

Here is another one. It's name is Okey and frankly, I have no idea what it's called in english

This one is a hacked Kick Off 2. The menus are translated into Turkish but that's not all! The players are renamed as well. Apart from that, it's Kick Off 2 as we know it.

Name: Kick Off 2 (nothing else on title screen)
Disks: 1
Author: A guy named Hakan from Efor Bilgisayar (Efor Computer) made this hack
Language: Turkish (Tr)
Year: After the release of Kick Off 2

LOL!!! Tulip Warrior - that's a riot! This is way too much fun. And yes, a muhtar traversing through dungeons and collecting stuff is most unusual, but it's so unique, I like it. It would have been too generic if it was a mere management sim!

AMOS has good potential, but typically the results were bland because of people who wrote unimaginative code, left in too many defaults (like the mouse or that flashing orange screen when loading, etc.) AMOS code can be greatly enhanced by pasting in assembly routines in places for optimization. I have a joke demo a friend of mine did in AMOS, plus a game he did as well. I'll see if they are on my hard drive when I get home and if so, post them.

Burseg, you have some nice treasures here! Thanks again for sharing them.

This brings me to a new question:
Who else has games that are neither of Danish, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian or Turkish?
Especially Scandinavian games would be nice to look at, especially FINNISH ones. There are some Finnish games for the C64 I know of, but I don't know of any on the Amiga so far.
Maybe someone has interesting news...

Or RUSSIAN games? (except TETRIS *grin*

)
Japanese? Chinese? No, I think there isn't any of the last two...

Finnis amiga games:

Super stardust / Stardust, they are allso makers of Max Payne. They still make amiga demos, Lapsuus can found on aminet

Elfmania same makers than stardust???

Terramaque=Blood house=Remedy?????

I don't know any finnis localed games for amiga ;-) maybe cause only 5 million finnis. Some multi language titles has a possibility
to choose a finnis language like.
