WinUAE, Avioutput with Null Filter crashes
Hi everyone,
i have a little problem. What i want to rip Videos with the Avi Output, it crashes, when i activate the Null-Filter in the Filter Window I have the newest Winuae version!!! My Spec: P4 3Ghz,1GBRam,Nvidia Geforce 6800GT Can anybody help me??? When i Activate in the Filter Window Direct3D/OpenGL, all rip is fine, no crash. Only the NullFilter. But i need the Nullfilter,because i have a higher Framerate when i grab the Videos!!! Thanx |

i mean,
when i rip the avi with the null-Filter Filter, i have a faster framerate when i rip with the direct3d/opengl Filter, i have a slower framerate, when i rip. Do you understand me?? i know, i have a bad english *ggg* |

Using Null filter when capturing is faster than filter disabled because video is captured from WinUAE's internal memory buffer, not from display RAM which seems to be much slower in some cases (probably video card/driver specific "feature")
Does it crash if null filter is enabled and you start emulation without video capture enabled? Try changing window size, reseting filter adjustments, toggling fullscreen etc.. WindowsKiller: read changelogs ![]() |

It only crashes,when i activate the Video Capture.
The Rest is working fine with the Null Filter :-) Very Difficult.... |
