Pintz and Amiga - Taylor Calk is seriously ill :(

One of the best Amiga guys, and runs the Pintz and Amiga Twitch stream is seriously ill in hospital and it doesn't look like he is doing to make it.

Amiga Bill said this :
Quote:
Sending massive Amiga healing prayers & vibes to my great friend Taylor Calk of Pintz n' Amiga. Taylor had emergency surgery on his portal vein and is in critical condition on ventilator with a 50/50 survival rate for the next 48hrs.
and today

Quote:
@everyone I have a painful update. Taylor is sadly not going to make it. They apparently took him early this morning for surgery and what we were hoping for was not there. They are making him as comfortable as possible while he passes. If you are close geographically and want to go visit, leave a comment and I'll reach out with the address and info. Jack and Taylor both think of the community they've built here as family. I know they both love you all. Please continue to pray for the Calks.
What an awful year this is turning out to be, from my complete emotional break down last week, to now hearing this.

I'll be taking some time off Indie Retro News as a good friend of mine, and Amiga streamer of Pintz and Amiga has passed away. At such an early age too. Suffered from a Blood Clot of which I knew all to well some years back. Now is the time to greave ??. He was an asset to the Amiga Community. You'll be missed greatly my friend

One day or another we all will follow the same road but why does it has to be so young ?
R.I.P. Taylor. Sincere condolences to his family, relatives and friends.

Didn't know the guy, but nobody deserves to go out this way. Sad news indeed. It is stories like this where we should all stop being ignorant and live our lives just a little bit more healthy.

A blood clot can be as simple as sitting still for way too long (Deep vein thrombosis)... the bane of all computer junkies.

Usually I'm happy to announce things first to the world, but in this case breaking the news to Amiga Bill was heart wrenching
