Cant get Lethal Xcess to load past intro

Hi. I have played this in the past but now i cant get any versions in the zone to work on a real amiga or in Winuae.

It gets to the intro music and when i hit the fire button to continue the screen goes multi coloured, like some kind of copper effect.
Then it stops.

Any advice on how to get this working?

You need to change disks when the screen flashes.

the screen dosent flash... it just goes to that copper effect screen and then it stops , even when you put disc 2 in. drive light is still on|?

UPDATE: Just found that the original disk version works in winuae. Screen dosent flash but as soon as i press fire on intro a new screen appears and asks for disk b.
I cannot copy these adfs over to my real amiga 500 though as there are double the normal size?
Anyone have these in orginal size or a cracked version that works?

You can't

I made them before it got burned lately.....

Lethal Xcess use a longtrack, indeed, this won't allow you to copy it back :S

Use 'Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr SR][!]' and 'Lethal Xcess (1991)(Eclipse)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr SR][!]'. When the copper effect shows up, insert disk 2 and press the left mouse button.

The original two disks, including the original Atari ST version (disks are dual format), are included as demo files with the KryoFlux host software package. These work fine in WinUAE, and can be written back to disk (which will work in Amiga and ST again). The latter needs a KryoFlux hardware.

"copper effect" screen = color flashing = screen flashing. It was exactly what I meant.

I tried swapping when tht copper screen came on. Still nothing.
Ill try the other disks suggessted later on today.

oh just an idea is this game display copper to ask Disk B, and display it again so that you insert disk A again ? just my 2 cts ?

Game is freaking hard!! no continues... plus the ships too big.

Still... love the music.

I think bullets are too big and too bright - chunks of cheese. It's not bad game but should not be named 'Wings of Death 2'.
