I just heard, this is so sad. We sometimes talked on Facebook... I had no idea he has ill. His creations will live forever.

This is really sad. I got hours and hours of fun out of Deluxe Galaga especially when I was younger (Deluxe Pacman was very good also). I can still boot it up now and play it for several hours in one session. Horrible disease to succumb to especially at that age. RIP

This is really sad news. Played hours and hours of Deluxe Galaga as well as Warblade. Such nice playability and an overall feeling of attention to detail.

On a sidenote, I'm getting a little sick of people dying before their due time. This has to stop...

Awww geeez no. Life is so unfair sometimes. Can't believe this. Like the rest of you guys, I've spent many hours playing Edgar's games - absolute classics.

I am so sorry to hear this. My condolences to his family. Deluxe Galaga was the first shareware game I ever registered on my Amiga, and I've spent countless hours playing his PC games as well.

Fondly remember playing Deluxe Pacman on my 500/1200 back in the day. Always had a soft spot for the music in particular.

very sad news indeed. I think I probably spent more time playing Deluxe Galaga on the Amiga than any other game.
