It's DPF, yes.
I use all sprites on the main character, so I have 64pixels width for his sword moves.
I didn't want to pull off a Lionheart and have a ridiculously short sworded Barbarian in my game...

So, everything here was a conscious design decision. Especially giving up the red for having more vibrant color ramps in the foreground instead of blood.

A sneaky idea might be to use 48 pixels for the barbarian and use two 3-colour sprites for the sword (i.e. one pair) to make it even longer
Then again, it's pretty cool as is so what do I know

Looking fantastic, crazy nice job on OCS visuals.

I believe you're a one man band as well (bar testing) which makes it all the more impressive!

Will poly-play release a box version at the same time as digi do you know?
