Although Empire Soccer 94 was released on the A500 there was a special unreleased AGA version which featured better graphics, team editors an indoor pitch and other improvements.

That does look great. I was just checking out the longplay of the DOS version and it doesn't have the parallax of the awning which I really like. People really did underestimate AGA, yesterday I bought Reshoot R and that's another one that really shows the power of AGA. Dare I say that parts of it get close to flirting with some PS1 2D games, great job @buzzybee

It's hard to believe that it's an amiga game! Too bad it's a football game, but it looks incredible anyway.

If there's a video I suppose that the game is downloadable somewhere?

Why has it not been released? The game is from 1994 before World Cup USA, still a good time for an A1200 game.

Sometimes they figure that distributing physical copies will cost more if sales are bad, and they preferred to ditch the game altogether.

Or maybe the game was almost done and was missing just a few features (like TFX) and they wanted to complete it... and never happened.

Virocop is way less impressive technically wise BTW, even if it's already good.

Might be the same reason for the AGA version (or just the fact that Commodore when under a few months before the supposed release).

Yep ! Hope it will be downloadable somewhere ! Very nice and smooth. A Neo Geo touch.
Seems like a 32bit arcade version of Neo Geo Cup 98 on the NG Pocket.
