Quik & Silva

has anyone got "the Adventures of Quik & Silva" main theme in mod format, i've uploaded the original mdat music files for anyone with knowledge of music conversion etc...

this is one of my favourite soundtracks to any game and it isn't even a commerical game!!!

infact, i've been trying to get this tune in mod format for over 5 years, with not much luck.

thanx in advance for any help

Huuuh... MDAT is the sound data (without samples) part of TFMX-Songs. It's not possible to convert it to MOD format without some loss in effects (realtime sample manupilation etc., and for conversion purpose no util is available at this point of time...).

@Djay: It IS a commercial game, distributed over Magazines ( http://www.nemmelheim.de/kaiko/interview_e.html for more ).

As Feltzkrone said, a conversion is not possible - but do you know you can play it with Winamp (via Plugin) or (better) Deliplayer ?

Or for what was the mod ?

Yeah, why do you want a MOD? just use a TFMX player... The quality will be MUCH higher.

I hope you don't use Protracker for playing mods...that's be rather stupid. It'd be like using Adobe Photoshop to view pictures! Get Deliplayer or Eagle Player and have support for most every music file on the Amiga. I wouldn't hold my breath for a TFMX2mod program, as it will not likely happen.

For Amiga it´s named delitracker

Get it at http://www.nemmelheim.de/cgs_small/ with 191 plugins (for 191 different formats)

That’s what I meant. I was thinking ahead for Eagle Player and typed the wrong thing. And it’s my choice between the two, although I have both installed.

Latest good and AGA compatible protracker is Protracker2.3D

Most of Protracker3.x seems to be bugged in some way.

All can be found on http://exotica.fix.no
