My top 3 would be
1. Lotus 2 2. Settlers 3. Naughty ones (Of course I haven't played that many other games multiplayer, Pang, and Lupo Alberto are the only 2 other games I remember multiplayering) |

I remember a lot of games suitable for more than one player at the same time.
Most sport games were multiplayer enabled (Kick Off, Sensible Soccer, Manchester United Football, Wayne Gretzky Hockey, TV Sports Basketball, Lotus etc.). But there are others like most Managing games (Bundesliga Manager, Eishockey Manager) and some strategy games like the Battle Isle series and History Line (I'm not sure if Powermonger and Popolous were multiplayer games too). Civilization and Colonization definitely were. And then there were other like Ports of Call. |

1. Blitzbombers (with four-player adaptor) - We still have a BB session (which usually lasts at least three hours) every few weeks over here.
2. Speedball 2 - One of my all time favourites, even in singleplayer mode. Perfect two player game: fast gameplay and aggressive atmosphere. And you can always blame destiny afterwards ("you had much more money and the better powerups!") 3. SWOS - for the same reasons as speedball 2 ("your f***ing keeper is way to good, that's unfair!") And the runner-up would be M.U.L.E./Subtrade. Brilliant "realtime strategy" wich proofes that the best games often have a very simply set of rules. Unfortunately, I'm out of M.U.L.E oppenents atm. |

My three choices would have to be:-
1. SWOS. It is just the greatest! Need I say more? 2. Worms. Great to play after a bad day, getting medieval on those worm a****s is a great stress reliever! 3. Sensi Golf. Nice weather, nice scenery, v.v relaxing and all without the burden of a heavy bag of clubs or a 5 mile hike!! |

@Matt D'Wrecker
Sensi Gof has to be the hardest golf game Ive ever played in my life, the swingmeter goes way to quick for my liking! Also the greens are a nightmare to play!:eek Though I must admit it is very funny especially when drunk playing it with your m8's like I happened to be doing on Sunday night! |

1) Worms: DC - this was always one of my favorite 2 player games of all
2) Hired Guns - too bad they cancelled the PC version. It looked really promising 3) Knights - this was some PD game off Aminet that I used to play to death |

Do I need to choose only 3??
Hmm The following are the ones I played the most with my friends SWOS Micro Machines Sensible Golf. But we also played a lot Great Courts 2, Brutal Sports Football. F1GP (trying to make the best lap times)... Stunt Car Race is probably great with 2 players. Dynablaster gottabe great with 4 playes, but I don't have an adaptor (But I've played Bomberman in others consoles with 4 players many times, it's just great ! ) |

Actually, I meant the PC remake using the unreal engine. There's a bunch of screenshots floating around the net somewhere, and I even remember there being an mpg at one time, however this was several years ago, and I doubt it will ever resurface. |

Multi's
My best Multiplayer's on Amiga, the only ones I had experience multi'ing on:
Battle Isle + Battle Isle Moon of Chromos - Great strategy between a couple of players (hot seat). It was pretty easy against the CPU, except for maybe a couple of the missions, but when you tried to use the same tactics you used against the CPU with a human player, things got very strategic. Every unit became extremely important, but what a bugger when a group of 5 no-stars light troopers would take out 3 of your 5 5-star heavy troopers. And... Deluxe Galaga! 2 players at once! Me & my brother used to go marathon on that thing...the most extreme I remember was like 9 hours straight, no sh*t. We went through the 75 levels like 3 times, then another 50, to around 400 levels. Our scores were so high, they didn't even display right at the top the screen, just a bunch of garbled characters. It was like we broke the thing, so my brother put in for his high-score name "Hulk Smash". We used all the tricks for finding the money ships, and we really needed all the cash we could get to keep going. As good as we were, the asteroid belt part was never a 'gimme'. We'd get through a couple times by luck, and get those bonuses, but that was always a 'maybe make it or not' part. Yeah, I know, "get a life", but it was something me and my brother could share that brought us together. And Chaos Engine, 2 players at once. Great game. |

sensible soccer for reasons mentioned elsewhere dynamite warriors (bomberman clone - very good fun!) gravity force 2 - a very simple but fiendishly addictive game... "GO!" "BINGO!" - spent days on this on 2 player trying to shave tenths of a second off laptimes etc...! |
