Dungeonette - The New Adventure (Amiga AGA / CD32)
Dungeonette - The New Adventure (Amiga AGA / CD32)
ETA: Currently unknown but I'm working on it albeit very slowly when I get chance Started it pretty much after CyberPunks 2 was released, so it's a slow burner project I guess. I'm about a third of the way through mapping the game, which is pretty big and set in the lands of 'Amigea'. |

The graphics looks stunning.
I first thought its a pure adventure game, then I saw protagonist hold the sword, and realised "adventure" is just part of the title. So, what type will it be? From the screens looks like action rpg, Diablo like. What will be recomended HW? Will it work on stock A1200 and CD32, or it will need something stronger? I repeat, these screenshots looks very gorgeous. |

Thanks all.
It will run on stock Amiga AGA and CD32 with 2Mb ChipRAM and of course Amiga 500 Mini etc. It is a hybrid of many games in reality and has some roots in Diablo for sure but also many others. Just for the record... Originally the basic game was written for Apple Watch many years back and then also a version was released for Spectrum Next back in 2017/18. This version is all new just for Amiga however and only resembles those previous titles in name only. Cheers |

I recall you did a poll vote after CuberPunks 2 and this game was most favourable...
Glad to see some progress... It does look very nice. Hopefully we can see some ingame video footage at some stage |

Yes this is the game that won the poll so I went with the votes.
Thank you Sure, once it's up and running in some form then usual video(s) will follow. The previous 2023 poll results... |

Well since CyberPunks 2 I've only given a little time to this project in reality, as been busy with life in general. Hoping to get this out in 2024 but not sure yet, could even be 2025 as just don't know and a lot to do yet before it becomes a game. Thank you tho

Certainly a bit of Final Odyssey but leaning more toward Dragonstone with a hint of Diablo. Basically a hack & slash dungeon crawler via joystick input. It may of course evolve over time as nothing is set in stone at this stage. I'm looking to not make it all dungeons and have some open land type levels a bit like Diablo I guess.

Thanks! The player sprite and sprites are just temp placeholders, but the tiles and maps shown etc. are the finished real thing. Taken ages just to reach this point.

Sorry not yet as still designing the graphics. Later on there will be some gameplay video doing the rounds no doubt. Much to do before I get to build any working versions tho.

Greetings and thank you Martin.
This game has a lot more tiles that make up the level maps to keep levels varied. It will take some time to complete the entire game world design. Thank you again for your support! |

Comparing to Final Odyssey got my attention. I'm going to confess, back when it came out I was underwhelmed by how that game looked and although interested never tried it. I finally played Final Odyssey relatively recently ... and I wish I had bought it back in the day. It's much better than some games I did buy back then!

Although I voted for Wiz 2, this looks super cute. I love it.
