Screaming Amiga
This might be a familiar problem hopefully. I just turned the A1200 on and it decided to scream some high pitch scream-literally I thought it was screaming- and then it died down and stopped. The trouble is now only two of the four channel outputs. Sound was from the tv
Any thoughts on if I can cure this folks? cheers Last edited by Adropac2; 01 March 2013 at 04:59. |

A wild stab-in-the-dark would be that you need to change your CAPS.

Screaming will be a feedback issue in the audio, check voltages and problems in the amp circuits for open circuit feedback resistors, those connected between the outputs of the amplifiers and their inputs.

Thanks for response, I wouldn't know where to start unfortunately. Would anyone here want to offer looking over this?
