That's even better and would simplify the mounting of the connector, I would probably still cut a slot in the top of the case and mount this from the inside of the top so less of it protrudes, well worth getting in the near future

I agree, lovely A600 lolafg.

I still can't understand why you use the large icons for drawers and drives though - they use up more chipram and are proportioned wrong at that resolution in my opinion.

Very nice setup though.

Everyone has different tastes lolafg; as long as you're happy.

*Must fight the urge to get an A600*

Honestly, all this A600 stuff recently has really got me thinking.....

No harm keeping an eye out for a cheap one as a project.

We need a simple 68020 mod though... That would rock

To be honest i never really liked the A600 or A500+... but after owning and selling a few A600's i'm becoming quite attached to the little "middle child" of the Amiga family

My A600 now has fully working 2mb chip + 2mb fast (or slow?) ram installed along with a fully loaded 3.2gb hard drive Although it's not as quick as my A1200 it still makes an nice relatively portable WHDLoad machine

I decided to use the "Green Amiga Alien" edition of ClassicWB with my A600 and it's been great - and to think i used to hate A600's until recently

I actually find myself loading up the old floppy's now, even though I have a similar setup to you (CWB 68k since I use 3.1 rom) but the floppys on the 1.3 switch, those old 1 disk games are just as fun to play from disk
