WHDload slave tutorial ?
Don't know if it is the right place to ask for, but would one of the advanced WHD coders making a little tutorial for e.g. a single file game?
I guess it is the easiest way to create a slave from a single file game because you don't have to work with disk protections etc.... I ever wanted to create my own slave of several games, but need to understand how WHDLoad works... |

@Joe
Not sure how helpful they will be for single file games, but here are a few tutorials on how to create WHDLoad slaves: http://www.flashtro.com/index.php?e=page&id=205 (Strider by Codetapper) ftp://codetapper.com/pub/exotica/old...nstalling.html (Pac-Land by Codetapper) http://zakalwe.fi/~shd/amiga-crackin...stallation.txt (ATR Xmas coverdisk by Codetapper) http://www.steveody.com/downloads/C6-T2-Tutorial.txt (Terminator 2 demo by Crackersixx) |

The c6 t2 tutorial quit key crash is because:
First it does not rts when patching keyboard. None of the routines ever flush the caches either (should work but...) And the patch should be done with 4eb9 not 4ef9. Best way to patch code is through patchlists. Very powerful. |

WHDLoaded NewTek Demos?
Hello!
On the subject of making WHDLoad slaves I'm wondering what it would take to make a WHDLoad slave for the NewTek Demo Reel demo (the first one that comes on two disks). I currently can run it off disks on my Amiga 1200 after using Relokick, but it would be great to be able to run it directly off the harddrive using WHDLoad. Is there such a thing as a step-by-step tutorial on how to make a WHDLoad slave for this - or possibly any of the other NewTek demos (that had to be run off harddrive back in the day because of the size of them....) Merry X-Mas btw |

I was primarily looking to get the 2-disk NewTek Demoreel to run as a WHDLoad slave but I'll look into using TUDE (have to look that software up as well as I am not 100% familiar with it) and see if that can help me run these demos. Recognizing your name as one who has brought about slaves for WHDLoad to enable running games and demos off the harddrive I just want to say thank you for the work and effort you put into it also Back in the day I could have never dreamed I'd have an Amiga in 2017 (and onwards) and be able to upgrade it to the point I have and use it in the way I can! |

Just following on from this as I am trying to understand and want to WHDLoad some of my games so they work on my Raspberry PI with a build that Baboon did for me.
Do I just run the GenericKick 1.3 in something like Devpac with the .ADF of the original game? Here are some games I want to WHDLoad: ElfieFinal_v13 Imbrium Jumpin' Jack (1992)(Andrews, Paul)(PD)[Blitz BASIC] MASH (1995)(Gregan, C.) Premier Picks (1993)(T. Blacklock) (amazing game!) smurf_rescue_by_hipoonios Terry's Big Adventure Bounce & Blast from Assassins 030 I also want to do Relics of Deldroneye (19xx)(Digital Ninja) but as it's 4 disks it might be difficult. |

Ha ha I am still interested in finding out IF there is a way to make a slave to have the NewTek demos load up through WHDLoad instead of having to use disks and downgrader etc for my Amiga 1200.
I don't mind the work if I need to try to do it myself but I do need to know how to. //ProdigalAmigan |

Why use WHDLoad if you're running through an emulator? Just set up the emulator with the correct HW + KS ROM and boot directly from the ADF.

All the games that are put on there are WHDLoaded LHA files. It is a build by a friend. Would also like to learn how to WHDload single games!
