AA3000 + with installed mmulibs keeps crashing

Hello there,

After installing MMU libs my Amiga keeps crashing, anyone have an idea?


Without Cyberstorm MKII, with onboard 30 cpu runs. also with Voodoo graphics card.
As soon as I plug the CSMKII, it crashes before it starts (restart loop)! also cannot be booted from the os3.9 boot disk and cd !
I want 60 turbo and voodoo graphics output. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with the 60s.

Can you get into the early boot menu and can you "boot with no startup-sequence" to get into a cli window?

Have you tried another 68060 library? Like the Phase5 040_060libs (see aminet)?
Also, did you try with the Cyberstorm in place but not the Voodoo card?


Some more info to pinpoint the problem would be helpful

I have a Cyberstorm MK3 in my AA3000+ and it works fine with any 060 library I throw at it, phase5, mmulibs, etc. I think A10001986 on a1k.org has a MK2 in his AA3000+. I don't know if he is using MMULibs or not, but maybe worth asking him.

Have had issues when installing MMULibs in the past. Try a Boot without start-up and edit both Startup-sequence and user-startup. Try commenting out anything that MMUlib has added in as you’ll find it’s one of them causing the looping. Had this with my A1200 and found that MUfastROM right at the beginning of my startup sequence wasn’t playing ball.
Then once you’ve got things normal, experiment by un-commenting the ones you’ve taken out to see what the issue is.

I do, and it works fine.


I only run MuFastRom and MuLockLib, but none of the other MuTools.

What version of Kickstart are you using?
