Fright Night, David Whittaker does it again!

Was playing one of my fav games from back in the day recently (Fright Night) on the amiga.
Something about controlling a vampire whilst scoffing blood from the hotel guests whilst listening to the over creepy tunes created by David Whittaker makes this so appealing to me

I finally decided to do a complete un-cheating playthrough of it with commentary and I would like to share it, I hope some of you enjoy the video

Yeah got the original game of this, loved the film (less said about the remake the better)

Sound superb, graphics nice too - typical Pete Lyon style. Gameplay kinda sucked (no pun intended) and a let down there is no end sequence too

Yeah, sadly the original game contained a bg where it was impossible to pass Thursday as the last victim never showed, however a nicely done cracked version corrected that bug which enabled me to pass Thursday and reach Sunday resulting in a completion run, but yes let down by not having at least an ending of somekind, I hate games that just loop

That explains why I could never get past Thursday It makes sense that it just loops doesn't it? You're a vampire after all, you're going to be doing that forever

This is not a game for me though, it's just too boring and the weird and rather loud music drives me crazy after a while.

Is the crack a fix or it just allow you to skip the level?

"corrected that bug" reads like a fix to me, skip the level is a workaround.

Yes as pointed out, you can't skip levels/days but the missing character now shows in the cracked version which in turn allows you now to complete Thursday and proceed to Friday.
