Here comes a request for a very rare game: No Buddies Land by Loriciel in 1992. This game was reviewed by Amiga Joker in April 1992 and can be best described as a vertical scrolling platform-game. As in Flood, Rainbow Islands and The Killing Game Show this game features the ‘rising water-level’-effect. This is the only information I’ve got.
I am searching for this game for many years now. Maybe it is known under an other (French?) title. Can anyone help? |

Hey, hey... I found this old request in the depths of EAB History. Does anyone know this game is ever published?

Hopefully, an Amiga version is out there. I have found originals of Loriciels games can be tricky to find, so maybe this one just never got cracked?

The fact [I]No Buddies Land[/I still has not surfaced on Internet after 11 years and the mag (Amiga Joker) being notorious reviewing games that never appeared on Amiga, I am afraid it is a hoax.

I saw in the HOL-entry the game is released on the Atari ST. The game is worth to get an Atari-ST emulator for. Almost.

What trainers have you got Rob? I've added the following to the soon to be released WHDLoad version: infinite lives, infinite energy, infinite time, $1 shop, choose start level, skip level hotkey.
"Location: $24" ... hahaha ![]() |

No Buddies Land is such a poor title for a game. I presume it's some kind of mistranslated thing!

"No Buddies" = "no friends" = "unfriendly" or "dangerous" land maybe ?
@Rob: what the method for skipping the wizard level? I think I've got your other trainers covered already. What's the reason for having no collision detection as well as infinite energy? I had infinite cash, but in the end I went for "everything costs $1" in the shop as it was more obvious when you'd actually bought something ![]() I did have "enter shop any time" but took it out ... seemed overkill ![]() |

Weird controls for jumping and some semi-visible platforms, but it's still good game.
